When it comes to staircases we have the experience to design, manufacture and fit to a very high standard, with handrails and balustrades. 

Staircase design must comply with stringent regulations and be suitable for the environment where it will be installed. We will ensure the design meets all regulatory and functional requirements, with a finish in keeping with the surroundings.

A site visit is the usual starting point, we need detailed measurements prior to manufacture. Architects drawings are fine for giving a project budget, but the detailed site visit will ensure staircases are made to fit exactly. At this stage if the designs are not confirmed, suggestions are given to satisfy the Australian building regulations, this is an important step.

Sometimes drawings are produced to an agreed and suggested design, in 2D or even 3D to help the customer envisage the final product. Drawings can be produced by our partners with the design and dimensions supplied by Edgar Fabrication (this is normally at additional cost).

Bright stainless steel with glass paneling or a high quality paint finish is a popular choice for stairs, balustrades and handrails. A pre-fit of the manufactured product is usually required before the final finish is applied, to allow for minor changes to attain the exact fit without damage to the final finish.
